A dynamic speaker and consultant, Mr. Baird is a noted leader in organizational change focused upon improved College & Career Readiness outcomes. Mr. Baird serves as the primary consultant for several Departments of Education and large school districts as they work to implement College & Career Readiness Initiatives, including the Common Core State Standards, the ACT College & Career Readiness Benchmarks, and Next Generation State Standards as in Texas. 

Baird is an expert in building leadership capacity for change, the use of educational technology, and school improvement reform processes. Mr. Baird’s practice includes work with governments around the globe, State Departments of Education, as well as school districts large and small. Mr. Baird is an expert in global management processes and has implemented educational research on several continents. 

Kevin’s primary areas of practice are leadership development and systemic improvement using data for differentiated instruction and direct support for teachers. He is the creator and author of The Consistency and Constancy Framework for School Leadership. Mr. Baird consults, trains and leads graduate-level courses, including the School Improvement Black Belt Certification program, to support district leadership, boards of education, principals, and staff development coaches as they create capacity for sustainable, student-centered improvement with measurable, replicable outcomes. 

Kevin Baird holds an MBA in Global Management, Bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Anthropology, serves as a member of the Secretary’s Circle of Phi Beta Kappa, is a Beinecke National Scholar and a Wingspread Scholar, and supports global education efforts through EdLead: The Baird Fund for Education. 

Mr. Baird serves as Senior Faculty member, as well as Chairman of the Board, at The Center for College & Career Readiness. He is the Chairman of the C2 Collaborative, which includes the Common Core Institute and Collaborative Learning, Inc
